ForumsThe different forums made up of diaspora experts support TPN in achieving its objectives through activities such as think tanks, workshops, symposiums, volunteering, partnerships, collaboration, etc.
Stronger TogetherTPN is a direct result of collaborative efforts among the diverse organisations to create a sustainable Framework. The member organisations join together to build capacity and success in all areas including healthcare, entrepreneurship, community engagement, youth, knowledge and skills transfer, housing, ICT; just to mention a few. Idea sharing is encouraged through TPN Big Idea, Bigger Dreams workshops.
Diaspora VoiceEach organisation within TPN is stand alone and has its own autonomy and governance structures. Together these organisations strengthen the Diaspora voice through representation in various forums with the government, public and private sectors. Knowledge and skills sets possessed by the member organisations are highlighted, and showcased.
Smoother EngagementThe network has its core in the Kenya Diaspora Policy 2014, which articulates how Kenya relates to her diaspora. The policy stipulates the formation of umbrella organisations as a prerequisite for better and smoother engagement, that helps facilitate better communication, partnerships and increase collaborations. TPN started out as a year long outreach campaign in 2015 that covered the length and breath of the UK.
